Errandonnée 2014, Part 1

I learned of this fun challenge from the excellent blog The Brompton Diaries: Errandonnée participants are invited to complete 12 errands-by-bicycle in 12 days while riding a total of (at least) 30 miles. Each errand must be evidenced by a photo, plus a lesson or observation.

It’s a lovely springish day in Manhattan, so I rode to the Union Square Greenmarket to buy a pot of wheatgrass for the feline overlords.

Errand #1

Category – Wild Card (I considered logging this as “personal care,” because the girl cat gets very stern if a fresh pot doesn’t appear weekly, which is bad for my mental health.)

Observation – there are some serious potholes on W. 15th St.

Distance – 9 mi. round trip
